OK, let's take these one at a time. Firstly, I saw what you wrote because you posted it to a mailing list that I'm on. (I'm sorry if this concept of an e-mail mailing list confuses you, but there's really nothing I can do about that. I'm also sorry that an awful lot of people, here and elsewhere, seem not to have mastered their mail clients well enough to avoid sending me a separate and duplicate copy of whatever messages they post to the list and which I will see there anyway... but that's also, apparently, not something that I can do anything about.) Secondly, regarding the local blacklisting of blacknight.ie, I can assure you that it's nothing personal. That happens to all domains that spam me. If you want to see the spam that triggered that, ask and I'll be happy to dig it out for you. (There's a handy contact form on my web site for use by folks in domains that are in the local blacklist.) Thirdly, I just want to say that you guys are both a riot. Really, It's rather hilarious how quick some folks are to defend against any perceived attack on their own selfish interests (and pocketbooks) even when the only threat is in their own minds. How you guys got so far off into the weeds, and started talking about things totally unrelated to the discussion at hand is beyond me. You guys should really consider joining the knee-jerk caucus of the Democratic Party here in the U.S., so that, you know, when I say something simple and innocent like "Our schools aren't doing a good job teaching kids English" you guys can come up with an equally off-the-wall reaction, like asserting that I'm obviously a racist because I demand that children in the U.S. learn English. In short, get a grip. If either of you would like to return to _this_ reality for a moment, you may perhaps notice that (contrary to your bunker-mentality perception) I actually _didn't_ attack your right to sell service to Mongolia, if that is your wish. I did (and do) however wonder out loud about RIPE policies when I see what appears to be large scale waste and fraud relating to precious and increasingly scarce number resources, and I did (and do) wonder about cases where some ``provider'' in the RIPE region somehow manages to get hold of a nice sized chunk of IPv4 space which is then, apparently, sold off to an American mass e-mailing company with _no_ apparent connectivity being associated with that deal... a practice that even the ICANN Political Scientist fellow with the exceptionally thin skin seemed to indicate was in fact a violation of *existing* RIPE policies. OK, that's really all I had to say. You may now proceed to misinterpret and misconstrue _this_ message, as you did that last one, in a way that best fits with your own preconceived and misplaced fears and concerns. Regards, rfg
