Hi all, I oppose this proposal. 1) If the actual routing table grows very quick, with all new lirs publishing /24 will make it over 1M routes in no-time, making mandatory to change "old" but very good routers that only can have 1M routes. Yes, I know there are a lot of /24 (370k) but if we "force" to publish /24, as they dont have anything longer, will kill it. 2) As all we know, there are a VERY HUGE difference between pre-runout LIRS and post-runout LIRS in terms of address space and, if this proposal is approved the difference will become astronomic. The ones that a this moment have full /8's without use will have at least doubled the price of their IPs, making them more richs (in terms of address space/price per ip). Again, instead of looking for a way to recover all the unused space from old LIRs or legacy we try to push more and more in the new ones. Thats my two cents. Regards, -- Daniel
