Dear AP WG list, as Marco reported we decided to withdraw the 2015-05 policy proposal. Summary: This proposal aimed to lower competitive disadvantage of new LIRs allowing the request of an additional IPv4 /22 every 18 months if they meet some requirements: - Additional /22 IPv4 allocations can be only provided from address space outside 185/8. - Only LIRs with less than a /20 in total are eligible to receive additional allocations. - LIRs must document their IPv6 deployment as part of the request. Same solution aimed to address and fix some legitimate but "wasting space" behavior of end-customers signing up as LIR to obtain space that their new small LIRs cannot supply. 2015-05, "Last /8 Allocation Criteria Revision" has been withdrawn due to the inability to find an acceptable agreement which satisfied all parties. kind regards Riccardo Il 02/06/2016 15:37, Marco Schmidt ha scritto: > Dear colleagues, > > > The proposal 2015-05, "Last /8 Allocation Criteria Revision" has been withdrawn. > > It is now archived and can be found at: > > https://www.ripe.net/participate/policies/archived-policy-proposals/archive-policy-proposals/ > > > Reason for withdrawal: > > The proposers decided to withdraw the proposal due to the inability to find an acceptable agreement which satisfied all parties. > > > Regards, > > Marco Schmidt > Policy Development Officer > RIPE NCC > > Sent via RIPE Forum -- https://www.ripe.net/participate/mail/forum > -- Ing.
