<p>Dear AP WG list,</p>
<p>as Marco reported we decided to withdraw the 2015-05 policy
proposal.</p>
Summary:<br>
This proposal aimed to lower competitive disadvantage of new LIRs
allowing the request of an additional IPv4 /22 every 18 months if
they meet some requirements:<br>
- Additional /22 IPv4 allocations can be only provided from address
space outside 185/8.<br>
- Only LIRs with less than a /20 in total are eligible to receive
additional allocations.<br>
- LIRs must document their IPv6 deployment as part of the request.<br>
Same solution aimed to address and fix some legitimate but "wasting
space" behavior of end-customers signing up as LIR to obtain space
that their new small LIRs cannot supply.<br>
<br>
2015-05, "Last /8 Allocation Criteria Revision" has been withdrawn
due to the inability to find an acceptable agreement which satisfied
all parties.<br>
