Indeed. And although some of us (personally) tried to point out the
problems with unilterally (and partly for non-technical teasons) going
ahead with a very specific text, at a time when the eventual problems
were discussed and to be expected already(!), it didn't help.

:-) But even if *our* region would agreee on such a thing, it wouldn't
have helped in other regions ;-)
