(ab)using IPv6 PI is also not a good solution for it I guess. How should we
make it possible?

Thank you for your email.

It is possible with IPv6.  The question is, do we really want the v6  
table to be as fragmented as the v4 one ?  Of course we do not.  We  
want fast convergence in the default free zone.  We wont get this if  
we don't look after the policies which govern assignment though.
