In general, spending 5 years on such a simple problem is the
worst thing to do and, naturally, results in useless output.

Actually, shim6, from the beginning, is wrongly architechted.
It is not only useless but also harmful.

Fortunately, as IPv6 is not deployed at all, we still have some
time to start over again throwing away all the details of IPv6.
