Some ISP's users are misbehaving (e.g. because they have been hacked), I send the ISP a very detailed log file, and get back a "please fill in our (completely unsuitable for the job) web form!!" auto-response. I *do* see the other side - but just referring people to a web form, or (which is even worse) not handling abuse complaints at all can not be the right answer either.
