Well, the policy is for the humans and not the humans for the policy. We are all *service* providers and thus we should deliver the *service* the customer which the customer demands. If there is a reasonable demand for PI (whether v4 or currently unsolved v6), we should try to do our best to serve this demand. Just my 2 cent for your "I don't like independend address space" position, which I don't believe is the position of the majority of the ISP's.
