Hi, as promised in the call before I will try to clarify the difference between an email attribute and an abuse-mailbox attribute. e-mail attribute: The e-mail attribute is intended to be the contact for personal communications between 2 or more parties. If I have questions for an abuse department I will send an email to this address. Services could use this address to verify that the for example delisting request is coming from the right person, by sending back a verification to this address. Spamhaus is doing something similar at the moment. abuse-mailbox attribute: This e-mail addresses is exclusively for abuse reports. The reports received by this address are usually handled automatically. Any questions? Let me know. Thanks, Tobias -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
