RIPE NCC Offices closed for Xmas and New Year

Dear Test-box hosts and RIS-users, This is to let you know that that the RIPE NCC New Projects department will be closed for Christmas and New Year on the following days: Tuesday December 24 after 14:00 CET Wednesday December 25 all day Thursday December 26 all day Friday December 27 all day Tuesday December 31 after 14:00 CET Wednesday January 1 all day TTM and RIS BGP data collection will continue during those days. TTM measurements with special configurations that had to be set up by us, will be switched off on the afternoon of the 24th in order to avoid problems during the long weekend. Special measurements which you set up with the WWW interface on the box will continue. In case of an emergency that requires immediate human intervention and cannot wait until Monday 30 or Thursday 2, we can be reached by telephone at +31.6.55861746. When calling, please take into account that Amsterdam in in the CET timezone, or GMT-1. Note that the following are not emergencies: * Requests for renumbering of machines or peering sessions, * Requests for special measurements, * Requests for data files, * Missing data files on our www or ftp site. If a file is missing, it will appear on our servers on (approximately) January 2nd. * Peering sessions that went down and need to be restarted. Please send a copy of this mail to any 24/7, NOC or other colleagues that should be aware of this information.
