Dear Test-box hosts. We started to look at staffing for the test-traffic project around the turn of the millenium. All components of the TTM project are Y2K compliant and it is our plan to leave the test-boxes running unattended, as we usually do during a long weekend. In the unlikely event that something fails, we'll simply accept that. Recovery from any unexpected problems will be done on Monday January 3rd. For real emergencies related to the test-boxes, I'll distribute a phone number where I can be reached around midnight GMT. If I cannot be reached, you can simply disconnect the box from the net. Note that the above applies to the Test-Traffic Project ONLY and NOT to any other services offered by the NCC. Please let me know if there are any objects against this scheme.
