Please see below the calls for the RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund 
(deadline is in two days!) and the RIPE Academic Cooperation Initiative 
(deadline is on 12 August). Please spread among your networks!

RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund
--------------------------------
The RIPE NCC provides EUR 250,000 a year to support projects of value to 
the operation and resilience of the Internet, with a focus on tools and 
services benefitting the technical community in the Europe, the Middle 
East and Central Asia.

Is your project of benefit to the Internet, particularly the RIPE community?
Is your project non-commercial in nature?
Do you have a clear project plan and timeline?

Apply by 29 June at:

Keep in mind that funding:
- may be used to purchase equipment, but this cannot be the sole expenditure
- cannot be used for humanitarian aid, donations, or to encourage 
political reform
- cannot be used to provide scholarships or cover tuition fees
- cannot be used to support any form of commercial activity

RACI - The RIPE Academic Cooperation Initiative
-----------------------------------------------
RACI is accepting applications from students, academics and researchers 
for the upcoming meetings in autumn 2018. Successful applicants receive 
complimentary tickets, travel and accommodation to the meetings and the 
opportunity to present their research.

- RIPE NCC Regional Meeting Almaty, 25 September
- RIPE 77, Amsterdam, 15-19 October

Application deadline is 12 August.

Examples of relevant research topics:
- Network measurements and analyses
- IPv6 deployment
- BGP routing
- Network security
- Internet governance
- Peering and interconnectivity
- Internet of Things
