We also have a sponsored Anchor since 2015. We are from the SEE region too, but not on the list you mentioned :-(

If the list consists only of Anchors sponsored in 2017, it may be useful to see a list of all time sponsored Anchors.

out of 16 "sponsored" RIPE Atlas anchors, half happened / going to be placed in SEE region: two in Albania, one in Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece & Romania each!
