Steve, Sorry I didn't get back to you on this. We've barely looked at prtraceroute at Merit, and the folks who worked on it at RIPE have moved on. David Kessens just started at RIPE three weeks ago to maintain and develop their code; perhaps he could have a look at this. ISI is also planning to do some upgrading to the prtools; they might also be able to help.
