Can we try to summarize where we are with the four points that started this discussion: 1) the mandatory nature of the gateway statement in the interas attribute Jean-Michel made a suggestion which was: a) the ordering of interasin/out remains as documented in RIPE 81 ++ b) the local and remote router info is optional c) solve the parsing by adding "L:" and "R:" Do we all buy into that? 2) the mandatory nature of asin/out attributes if interas attributes are present Merit has presented reasons for leaving these both optional. Will both as-in/out and interasin/out remain optional? 3) the proposal for an asname attribute We have all agreed to add this, correct? 4) the proposal for a change time attribute This is a DB working group issue so it will be addressed in another forum. Is this an accurate summary of our discussion so far? Thanks. --Elise -------- Logged at Fri Sep 9 15:17:00 MET DST 1994 ---------
