Dear colleagues, Over the last months, we ran a public experimental rsync environment on rsync://rpki2.ripe.net [0]. This environment uses an internal RRDP publication server as a source of truth and writes snapshots of that state to disk. Rsync then served files from the local filesystem instead of NFS. We observed improved performance and scalability compared to our NFS based rsync setup and will consider this setup when revisiting our rsync infrastructure.
