Dear Colleagues, A user asked us, off list, if we could produce some stats on how the duplicate ASNs contained in the RIPE Database are used for originating routes. I thought the numbers may be of general interest. There are 1118 aut-num objects in the RIPE Database that are not RIPE NCC administered resources. Of these 988 of them originate route(6) objects. From these 988 objects, 986 of them originate route objects. 169 of them originate route6 objects. Regards Denis Walker Business Analyst RIPE NCC Database Team
