Hi, > It is suggested that prefix filters allow for prudent subdivision of an IPv6 allocation. The operator community will ultimately decide what degree of subdivision is supportable, but the majority of ISPs accept prefixes up to a length of /48 within PA space. Although I would like to give some firmer guidelines than what is written here, I understand that it will be very hard to get consensus on any given prefix length. Let's try it anyway :) If it doesn't work I will give my full support to the current wording! What do you think this: "It is suggested that prefix filters allow for prudent subdivision of an IPv6 allocation, at least up to a /36. The operator community will ultimately decide what degree of subdivision is supportable, but the majority of ISPs accept prefixes up to a length of /48 within PA space." *taking cover* Sander
