Dear RIS users, In order to perform research on the effectiveness of AS-path prepending in the coming weeks, we will be changing the configuration of RRC07, RRC10 and RRC14. The configuration change will cause one or more session reset(s) on the BGP sessions to some RIS peers in these locations. The ASes affected will be: RRC07 (NETNOD, Stockholm): AS16150, AS5400, AS13237 RRC10 (MIX, Milan): AS1299, AS9026, AS12779 RRC14 (PAIX, Palo Alto): AS6762, AS6939, AS2914 We plan to make the configuration changes on between 12:00 and 14:00 UTC on Friday 5 May. We will inform you when this work is completed. Regards, Lorenzo Colitti On behalf of the RIS team -- Lorenzo Colitti lorenzo at ripe.net Network Engineer +31-20-5354471 RIPE NCC www.ripe.net
