Dear colleagues, EU sanctions on Russian controlled content require ISPs in member states to “introduce further restrictive measures to suspend the broadcasting activities of such media outlets in the Union, or directed at the Union”. In this new guest post on RIPE Labs, researchers from SIDN Labs - in collaboration with the University of Illinois Chicago, the Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI), the University of Twente, and the University of Amsterdam - share the results of a longitudinal traffic analysis aimed at better understanding how ISPs in different EU member states are actually implementing these sanctions: https://labs.ripe.net/author/moritz_muller/internet-sanctions-on-russian-media-diverging-actions-and-mixed-effects/ Kind regards, Alun Davies RIPE Labs Editor RIPE NCC
