Also, I'd understand if the LGBQT* folks in the RIPE community might not feel overly welcome any more, given that the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has just cancelled the EuroPride parade - meant to be held in Belgrade in September - the other day, arguing that Serbia "is currently facing too many other problems". This could be seen by some in a at least slight conflict with the "RIPE Code of Conduct" (ripe-766, https://www.ripe.net/publications/docs/ripe-766). Best, -C.
