The Internet runs both on proprietary and open source software, and the proprietary companies have done a pretty good job of representing their interests, for example at the IETF, NOGs, RIR meetings, and so on. Inviting the open source developers in to the RIPE community would help give balance. Looking forward to the next (hopefully last) BoF. :) Cheers, -- Shane
