[Apologies for duplicate e-mails.] **Please forward this e-mail to any colleagues within your organisation who specialise in government relations or regulatory affairs** Dear Colleague, I am writing to ask for your help in identifying relevant external government or regulatory contacts you may know for our forthcoming event. You may be aware that, as a part of the RIPE NCC's External Relations activities, we seek to develop relations with government representatives and regulators. We are building on the RIPE NCC's position as a neutral and trusted organisation with proven expertise in the technical co-ordination of IP networking. The RIPE NCC facilitates Roundtable Meetings to discuss Internet management issues relevant to governments, regulators and industry partners. These Roundtable Meetings provide a chance for attendees to learn more about, and how to participate in, IP address management policy-making. The next Roundtable Meeting is on Tuesday, 7 February 2006 at the Schiphol Sheraton in Amsterdam. To ensure broader representation of the RIPE NCC service region, we wish to invite the government representatives or regulators who you, or members of your organisation, may know. Please provide us with their contact details so that we can ensure they are aware of the opportunity to participate. Please e-mail this contact information to us at: roundtable at ripe.net For further information on the RIPE NCC Roundtable Meetings, go to: http://www.ripe.net/meetings/roundtable/index.html Regards, Paul Rendek Head of Member Services and Communications RIPE NCC
