Dear All,
Below is the hostcount for January 2004.
The table shows an increase since last month of over 1,249,000 (or 5.9%)
to a total of almost 22,310,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe and
surrounding areas.
The fr domain shows the highest increase for January with approximately
627,500 hosts more than in December.
IPv6 'AAAA' records account for approximately 0.33% of records counted.

- Brief Notes on this Hostcount -
'ru' was removed from the count. We have been unable to get a collection
for too long.
A first draft of IPv6-related statistics is at the very end of this
email. These are not yet available on the website.
