Left unattended, over longer periods of time, measurements lose probes.<br>
The RIPE Atlas API includes a call that can be used to add or remove<br>
probes or groups of probes in an existing measurement, see:<br>

We started working on a feature where you'll be able to ask the system<br>
itself to remove disconnected probes, and to "top it up" with other<br>
probes (similar to the original ones. I cannot tell when this will be<br>
available though.<br>
