The maximum number of v2 probes ever alive at the same time was about 1800 (i 2013). We made about 3000 of these. (v1 and v2 are almost the same device; both have 16MB flash, v1 has 8MB RAM, v2 has 16MB RAM) Today we have about 440 v1 and 690 v2 connected. These have proven to be way more stable than we anticipated; as you can see many have been running for over 10 years now!
