Hi, There is a short description about how these tags are applied at https://atlas.ripe.net/docs/probe-tags/ "DNS resolution" section. Basically, the system looks at results of DNS measurements delivered by the probe and applies/removes tags based on how successful those were. I believe this is done daily, perhaps more often. We are reworking the documentation so I'll make a note to add more details on how this exactly work. I'll reach out to you privately about what may be going on on your probe.
