When it happened to one of my probes earlier this year, I moved the USB-stick to a Linux computer and ran a "badblocks -svw" on the stick. It didn't find any bad blocks and the probe is still using the same USB-stick as it has been since 2014-01-06. Might be a solution if you don't want to buy a new USB-stick and just want to get the probe up and running again. -- Povl Ole
