Hi all, We want to let you know that we have seen the active conversations about the USB sticks and the problems they’re causing for some RIPE Atlas probes. We are aware of these issues, and are taking steps to ensure this doesn’t become a real problem for the RIPE Atlas system. We’ve just published a RIPE Labs article that explains the preliminary analysis of our logs we’ve begun to investigate this issue. In the coming weeks, we will make sure we analyse all the logs we have in order to try to find a possible solution. We will keep you posted with any updates we have through this article. https://labs.ripe.net/Members/philip_homburg/a-visual-impression-of-probe-lifetimes We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing for some of our users. Thank you for continuing to be a part of RIPE Atlas. Regards, Andreas Strikos (on behalf of the RIPE Atlas team)
