Dear colleagues, I want to share with you that RIPE NCC recently launched an IPv6 Security Course. https://academy.ripe.net That is in addition to the courses already available, such as Introduction to IPv6 and the RIPE Database. The IPv6 Security course covers: 1) How to protect your IPv6 network against new attack vectors and most common threats 2) Filtering rules for IPv6 packets 3) Security options for IPv6 routing protocols 4) Tools to assess IPv6 security threats and mitigation techniques 5) IPv6 network vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques 6) Designing a high-level IPv6 security strategy 7) Justify the need to implement IPv6 security solutions All the courses are available for free to anyone. If you think they might be useful to your students or anyone in your department, please share with them the link. https://academy.ripe.net We've also launched exams that you can take after you complete the course (or without completing the course if you already know the material) and receive a certificate for doing so. The exam questions are aligned with the demands of the job market, so that the certifications test actual skills and knowledge required in the workplace. Anyone from academia can request free vouchers to take the exams for a limited time. Please write to exams at ripe.net before 15 October. The issued vouchers will be valid until the end of the year. To assign the voucher we need to know the name, email, position and organisation/university. You can read more about RIPE NCC Certified Professionals here: https://www.ripe.net/support/certified-professionals I hope you found this useful.
