Dear all, We just posted the message announcing the approaching deadline (this Friday, 12 September) for applications for RACI grants to RIPE 69. In promoting RACI to researchers and academics, one of the difficulties we have is to be able to make sure the right candidates receive the information regarding RACI. All of our regular mailing lists and other communication channels are directed towards the established Internet community. We also post announcements about RACI on Twitter and Facebook. If you have ideas or suggestions on how we might be better able to reach Internet researchers and academics across our service region (Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the CIS), I ask that you post your suggestions to this list or email me directly. If there are specific channels you are aware of that we might use to spread the word about RACI, we would also be very interested to hear about these. I look forward to hearing from you. Fergal Cunningham RIPE NCC Dear colleagues, This coming Friday, 12 September 2014, is the closing date for applications from academics who wish to attend the RIPE 69 Meeting in London, 3-8 November 2014, as part of the RIPE Academic Cooperation Initiative (RACI): https://ripe69.ripe.net/programme/raci/ The package for successful applicants includes the cost of RIPE Meeting tickets, accommodation, travel to and from London, lunch on each day of the meeting and access to social events. Students and researchers from within the RIPE NCC service region are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity to present their work to leading technical figures in the Internet world. Please share this information with any colleagues or contacts who might wish to apply. We also invite you to join the new RIPE academic cooperation mailing list, which aims to strengthen ties between the RIPE and academic communities by providing a platform to discuss matters of common interest: https://www.ripe.net/mailman/listinfo/raci-list/ Kind regards, Fergal Cunningham, RIPE NCC The RACI Coordination Team
