PDP Number: 2009-07 Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Policy for Allocation of ASN Blocks (ASNs) to Regional Internet Registries Dear Colleagues, Consensus has been reached, and the proposal described in 2009-07 has been accepted by the RIPE community. The related RIPE policy document has now been updated, published and can be found at: ripe-480, "Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Policy for Allocation of ASN Blocks to Regional Internet Registries" http://www.ripe.net/ripe/docs/ripe-480.html The proposal is now archived and can be found at: http://www.ripe.net/ripe/policies/proposals/2009-07.html Please note that this is a global policy and will therefore come into effect only after it has been accepted as a policy in all other RIR regions and then ratified by ICANN. Thank you for your input. Regards Filiz Yilmaz Policy Development Manager RIPE NCC
