Dear Colleagues, Proposal 2007-04, Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Policy for Allocation of ASN Blocks to Regional Internet Registries, was accepted by the RIPE community in September 2007. This proposal has since reached consensus in all other RIR regions and it was also ratified by ICANN. Therefore, the proposal is now in effect as a global policy. You can find the policy documented at: http://www.ripe.net/ripe/docs/ripe-416.html Kind regards, Filiz Yilmaz Policy Development Officer RIPE NCC
