Hi, quick notes from today, for those who were not present to know what we agreed on : On 14/09/2019 13:38, Vesna Manojlovic wrote: > - discuss applications after 1st deadline There's 21 for Delft, 6 for Dublin (althou only 3 "non-orga"), 38 for Paris & 10 in Sarajevo. Padua (and CERN) don't have any yet. Question: do we accept non-technical people? Answers: - yes, because they can contribute their creativity in other ways - depends - listen to your own "gut" when deciding if you are willing to deal with them during the event... > - sending emails to all applicants (accepted & rejected) Official 1st deadline to inform those who applied is 30.9. People who were on the call said they will send emails. Also: We agreed to have one central "list of participants" >published< - but - since this is the 1st time we are doing the "distributed" event, we (NCC) still have to figure out where & how to "publish" this. (previously, there were multiple purposes for "the list"; and now some of those are still there - but local, and the other purpose is "global"..) ACTION on NCC to figure out the "publishing" of the list of participants. We also agreed to use Slack for the communication between particpants. ACTION on NCC to create several Slack channels for participants (one global; one per node; more?) > - promotion until the 2nd deadline We will all continue to promote the event. Ulka will send the draft-look of the poster, for everyone to comment. ACTION on EVERYONE to confirm that the logos & categories are matching (nodes, supporting organisations, industry partners) ACTION on everyone to confirm the number of people needing T-SHIRTS! ACTION on Marc, Ulka & Vesna to talk about expenses. ACTION on Ulka to order the T-shirts to be printed (at the latest 27.9.) > - all other open TODO items from Trello > - any other questions Technical coordination : ASW is being tested; code is in progress; documenting instructions to connect is in progress; Matt will come up with the time-plan for testing connection between nodes. ACTION: Please decide who is a technical contact for your node & get in touch with Matt & Wojciech. Content: Original challenge was too focused on C as a programming language; now there are new versions for Python programmers. ACTION on Vesna & Wojciech to figure out GitHub repository. Video-link: should be tested too. ACTION on every node: Please decide who is "facilitator" & get in touch with Vesna, so that we can test Zoom together. (and please add that here: https://pad.riseup.net/p/quantum-internet-hackathon-2019-orga-keep ) NEW agenda point: a new node: CERN! - not completely confirmed yet - it should be confirmed by end-of-day 26th (Thursday) - NCC will try to add them to the T-shirt & poster - NCC will try to add them to our application form ACTION on Daniel to confirm CERN's participation & send logos ASAP > - scheduling next call Friday, 25.10. 2PM CET (Amsterdam time) > https://zoom.us/j/7489902822 > Meeting ID: 748-990-2822 > > Thanks, > Regards, > Vesna > > >
