Vesna, Quick update, I was able to add my participants to the channel so no more problems! I have attached a text file with the participants accepted in the first round of applications. Thanks! -Matt ________________________________ From: peqi-hackathon-orga <peqi-hackathon-orga-bounces at ripe.net> on behalf of Matt Skrzypczyk <M.D.Skrzypczyk at student.tudelft.nl> Sent: Wednesday, October 2, 2019 9:49:22 AM To: Jean-Gabriel Boinot; Vesna Manojlovic; peqi-hackathon-orga at ripe.net Subject: Re: [peqi-hackathon-orga] Slack / chat & lists of approved participants Hey Vesna! Thanks for getting the Slack channel set up, it doesn't seem that I can see the Delft_participants channel, I would like to add our participants. -Matt ________________________________ From: peqi-hackathon-orga <peqi-hackathon-orga-bounces at ripe.net> on behalf of Jean-Gabriel Boinot <jg at quantonation.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 1, 2019 1:54:43 PM To: Vesna Manojlovic; peqi-hackathon-orga at ripe.net Subject: Re: [peqi-hackathon-orga] Slack / chat & lists of approved participants Hi for Paris node on the side of Quantonation could you please add to the slack channel: christophe at quantonation.com olivier at quantonation.com jg at quantonation.com (myself) Thank you very much Jean-Gabriel Boinot-Tramoni Associate, Quantonation @Quantonation +33 6 45 65 18 31 Le 01/10/2019 13:36, « peqi-hackathon-orga au nom de Vesna Manojlovic » <peqi-hackathon-orga-bounces at ripe.net au nom de BECHA at ripe.net> a écrit : Hi, about these two actions: > We agreed to use Slack for the communication between particpants. > > ACTION on NCC to create several Slack channels for participants > (one global; one per node; more?) I have created 6 new channels: "$CITY_participants" , & there's a "general" channel too, here: https://app.slack.com/client/TN6S2HSG0/CN0E58QD7/details/info In order to invite people to these channels, either: 1. you can invite the ones you have approved or 2. send me the lists of participants for your "node", and I will invite them. > We agreed to have one central "list of participants" >published< - but - > since this is the 1st time we are doing the "distributed" event, we > (NCC) still have to figure out where & how to "publish" this. > > (previously, there were multiple purposes for "the list"; and now some > of those are still there - but local, and the other purpose is "global"..) > > ACTION on NCC to figure out the "publishing" of the list of participants. My current proposal is to create a PDF file with the names-per-city, and send that to everyone by email -- and to post it to Slack too. So please send me your lists; I prefer "name+email" format, and it can be anything - text, PDF, excel, "numbers" (Apple), CSV... I'd like to do this before end of Friday - so please send it to me ASAP. Thanks!
