Hi Ripe Thanks for your excellent work here … I tried this with on IP from me where I have an inetnum object for a /32 with an exact geoloc position for Frankfurt (185.54.144.33) – But openipmap does locate this to Stuttgart instead to Frankfurt for whatever reason … Maybe it would make sense to have a look at your own geoloc attribute in Ripe or rank it higher than the often random-generated from strange geo-ip databases? Alternative – if you do not support this attribute yourself, you should maybe better think on deleting it from ripe? my personal view on this: This global geolocation topic is starting to make much more troubles and causing support as it does solve … so all initiatives should be focused to make things better and not just add another plattform which creates a few new problems which we would not have if the pattform would not exist 😉 (doesn’t mean that this is true for your initiative – this is just my general view on this…) Thanks for your efforts!
