Hi, On Wed, Aug 01, 2012 at 05:42:23PM +0200, Denis Walker wrote: > Well almost and in a round about way. All ALLOCATION objects are > required to have a reference to the LIR's ORGANISATION object. Yeah, I'm aware of that - but it's complicated, and needs a lot of queries. The alloclist nicely groups these under the RegID (which I can't get seem out of the RIPE DB at all, if I look at our objects). > Beyond that is tricky as the reference to ORGANISATION is optional > everywhere except the ALLOCATION objects. Now, while this sounds nice, it doesn't work. inetnum and autnum objects do have an org: attribute, and it is actually enforced upon registration by the hostmasters - but it will point to the *holder* of the object, not to the sponsoring LIR. I'm not claiming that it's there today (or that it actually *should* be there, given that Nick's initial mail was a request "for the NCC to examine..."), I'm just challenging Alex' claim that it can be done today... Gert Doering -- NetMaster -- have you enabled IPv6 on something today...? SpaceNet AG Vorstand: Sebastian v. Bomhard Joseph-Dollinger-Bogen 14 Aufsichtsratsvors.: A.
