We rely on the data provided by DNSMON to monitor the global reachability of the .uk nameservers. The tool is used to assess our performance against KPIs and as a diagnostic tool. Given its usefulness I would certainly want to extend it to monitor ENUM nameservers. I can see the concern that Jim has, but the fact remains: If the service is not provided by RIPE, who would provide it? Who else has the traffic measurement boxes so well distributed? Not to mention the professional resources and experience. Regards, Ian
