[ncc-services-wg] Updating ORGANISATION objects in the RIPE Database

Dear Colleagues,

As announced last week, RIPE NCC will perform an upgrade on the LIR 
Portal software and internal software on Wednesday, 29 August 2007.
If your ORGANISATION object is updated as part of this process, and the 
object contains a "notify:" attribute, you will receive an e-mail 
alerting you to the update. To verify or update your contact details, 
please log in to LIR Portal from Thursday, 30 August 2007.

The reason for the upgrade is to implement a standardised format for 
contact details in the RIPE NCC internal registry database. The 
ORGANISATION objects in the RIPE Database will then be synchronised to 
reflect the updated contact details in the registry database.

You may be notified if the ORGANISATION object relating to your 
organisation has been updated as part of this process. To verify or 
update your addresses, please log in to LIR Portal from Thursday, 30 
August 2007.
