[Apologies for duplicate emails] Dear Colleagues, For the first time, the next MENOG meeting (5 – 9 April 2009: Manama, Bahrain) will feature world-class workshops on Routing and IPv6 for network operators and engineers from the Middle East. These three-day workshops will include a full lab, designed for network engineers and operators who are running existing ISP infrastructure. The workshops will be of particular interest to attendees with a working knowledge of configuration fundamentals and who are interested in scaling their network operation, or who are about to deploy a new network. In addition to world-class, hands on training, participants will get a certificate for attending these workshops. The Routing Workshop will focus on OSPF/ISIS and BGP as well as configuration best practices while the IPv6 Workshop will focus on routing protocols, co-existence and network deployment. The workshop instructors are experienced in the Internet Operations community, having given many similar workshops at other major regional Operations meetings (such as APRICOT, SANOG, AfNOG etc). Both workshops will run for three days, from Sunday 5 to Tuesday 7 April. A fee of €235 applies to workshops. For more information on these workshops, see: http://www.menog.net/meetings/menog4/workshops.php Apart from the fee for these workshops and your accommodation, the MENOG event is FREE to attend. It runs in parallel with the RIPE NCC Regional Meeting, which is held in the same venue from 8 – 9 April.
