I would like to thank you for your suggestion and support. You may not be aware of this, but during the last RIPE regional meeting, efforts to establish a NOG have been initiated and recently, a date was set for the first meeting. For everyone on this list, this is now in April from the 2nd to the 4th. Anyone interested in speaking, please let me, or Paul from RIPE NCC who is supporting the initiative now. Anyone interested in helping us organize, please feel free.

Hello everyone,

My name is Ahmed Maged, i work with a Networking gear vendor, before that with an ISP, i am
glad something like this took place in the region finally and i will make sure i attend the next one. 

I was thinking of grouping network operators and vendors of the region to a nog, that would be menanog, middle east and north africa NOG, to discuss operational experiences and new technologies, nothing related to my position at the vendor, just because i know how this region needs one because i was in that place one day where i wish something like that were there. 

I already have the domain HYPERLINK "http://www.menanog.org"www.menanog.org, i want people to work with me on that, if you think this is not going to work, please tell me your reasons and if it conflicts somehow with RIPE-NCC-Middle East, tell me as well. 

Your suggestions and opinions is highly welcomed.
