Salaam and Good day to all Regards, Haytham Abduljawad Policy and Strategy, Manager GIMO ictQATR 974-493-5922 974-549-2965 <mailto:habduljawad at ict.gov.qa> ________________________________ From: ncc-regional-middle-east-admin at ripe.net on behalf of Alireza Kashian Sent: Sun 2/19/2006 10:51 PM To: ncc-regional-middle-east at ripe.net Subject: [ncc-regional-middle-east] More Contacts, More Synchronization, More Cooperation Dear Colleagues @ Ripe Ncc First of all I should say thanks to Axel Pawlik and Ripe NCC's staff to help growing up discussion around Middle East IP Networking by making mailing list and arranging regional meetings. During past 2 years, I have been involved in Internet Governance negotiations and I realized that we don't have very strong participation from middle east region in both consultations and publishing. I think Middle East countries need to have more contacts, more synchronization and more cooperation on some of regional tasks like development of Internet Exchange Points. At the begging we would need to know each other much more and even invite our colleagues join the mailing lists. It will be my pleasure to share my contact info here: [I am working with Supreme Council of ICT in Iran as an Advisor.] Alireza Kashian Supreme Council of ICT PoBox 16315-1639 - Tehran , IRAN Email: a_kashian at iran.info Tel: +98 21 8873 3022 Fax: +98 21 8874 2224 Regards, Alireza Kashian ************************************************************************************************** The information in this email and any attachments thereto, may contain information that is confidential, protected by intellectual property rights, and may be legally privileged.
