[Apologies for duplicate emails]

Dear colleagues,

To improve the usability of our services, we are deploying a new user account system called RIPE NCC Access. It will allow you to use a single set of credentials to access most of our services. This means that all users of our various services will be asked to migrate or update their current login credentials to a new scheme, using your email address and a password of your choice.

We will roll out RIPE NCC Access gradually. The first service to adopt this functionality is IS Alarms. All current IS Alarms users will receive an email with instructions on how to set up their RIPE NCC Access account. From Thursday, 15 September 2011, IS Alarms users will not be able to log in with their old credentials. In the following months, other services such as the LIR Portal, DNSMON and RIPE Atlas will follow. We will keep you updated on the progress.

We are certain RIPE NCC Access will offer simplified and unified access to our services and improve the overall user experience. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send an email to <ncc@ripe.net>.

Kind regards,

Alex Band
Product Manager
RIPE NCC
