[ncc-announce] [GM] The RIPE NCC General Meeting is Today

Dear RIPE NCC members,

The RIPE NCC General Meeting October 2022 (GM) will take place today at 16:30 (UTC+2). The GM is an opportunity for members to discuss the activities of the RIPE NCC. At this GM, members will vote on four resolutions.

REGISTER BEFORE 14:30 (UTC+2) TODAY

NEW VOTING PLATFORM
The GM will use a new third-party online voting platform, Assembly Voting. Electronic voting now requires two-factor authentication and voters will receive two emails - one from the RIPE NCC with their registration number and one from Assembly Voting with a link to the voting platform. Once voting is open, all eligible voters with a link can access the voting pages and cast their vote.

RESOLUTIONS TO BE VOTED ON
There is one resolution on the redistribution of the RIPE NCC surplus and three resolutions on amendments to the Articles of Association. The Executive Board is recommending that members vote No to resolution 1 so that the surplus is added to the RIPE NCC reserves, and Yes to the three Articles of Association amendments.

PARTICIPATING IN THE GM
You need to register to participate in the GM. If you are attending in person, don't forget to check in and pick up your GM badge at the registration desk. You will need this to be able to enter the GM. 

All registered attendees will receive an email before the GM with the link to the virtual meeting platform. The link to vote in the GM will be sent during the GM and voting will become active after the Chair declares voting open.
