Dear RIPE NCC members, The RIPE NCC Executive Board held its 138th Meeting via teleconference on 8 September 2020. The draft minutes of the meeting are now available: https://www.ripe.net/about-us/executive-board/minutes/2020/minutes-138th-executive-board-meeting The Executive Board publishes the minutes of its meetings so that the workings of the Board and the decisions it makes are transparent for the membership that it represents. The following is a summary of the main items from the meeting. Further details are available in the minutes. - The Board approved amendments to the procedural document “Due Diligence for the Quality of RIPE NCC Registration Data”: https://www.ripe.net/publications/docs/ripe-748 - The Board approved the publication of the Draft Agenda for the RIPE NCC General Meeting in October 2020. - The Board approved the publication of the Draft RIPE NCC Activity Plan and Budget 2021 with the proposed amendments of adding a section on sanctions and FTEs per activity: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/october-2020/draft-ripe-ncc-activity-plan-and-budget-2021.pdf - The Board adopted the recommendations of the RIPE NCC Executive Board Election Task Force and instructed the Managing Director to implement the recommendations that are not subject to an amendment of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association. The Board also approved proposed amendments to the RIPE NCC Articles of Association and instructed the Managing Director to prepare a relevant resolution(s) for the adoption of the proposed amendment by the next General Meeting. - The Board instructed the RIPE NCC to publish the report of the Executive Board Election Task Force for the membership: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/ripe-ncc-executive-board-election-task-force - The Board decided to increase the number of the Executive Board members that acting jointly have the authority to represent the Association from two to four. The RIPE NCC Executive Board approved the relevant proposed amendment to Article 10.4 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association and instructed the Managing Director to prepare a relevant resolution for the adoption of the proposed amendment by the next General Meeting. - The Board also received an update from the new RIPE Chair, Mirjam Kühne.
