Dear colleagues, We have now published the draft minutes from the October 2019 General Meeting (GM). The minutes contain links to the presentations given at the GM as well as the results of the voting on resolutions. Included at the top of the minutes is a link to a new "GM Objections System". We would like to briefly explain what this is for. At the May 2019 GM, the RIPE NCC Articles of Association (AoA) were updated to include some procedural details about how GMs should be run. Article 19.4 explains that the draft minutes should be published within two working days of the GM (today), and also explains that members have a period of three weeks in which they can object to the draft minutes. For an objection to be considered by the Executive Board, it must be signed by at least 100 members. The new tool is designed to make this process simpler for members who wish to make an objection. Members can easily view and support other members' objections or submit their own. A RIPE NCC Access account that is associated with an existing membership is required to use the tool. You can find the draft minutes at: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/october-2019/minutes You can find the objection tool at: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/minutes-objections If you are interested in the relevant text in the AoA, you can read Article 19.4 here: https://www.ripe.net/publications/docs/ripe-726 Kind regards Athina Fragkouli Chief Legal Officer RIPE NCC
