[ncc-announce] [news] Aligning End User and LIR Resource Transfers

Dear colleagues,

We will soon be changing the way that transfers of End User resources 
are handled in the LIR Portal, by applying the same approach that is 
already in place for transfers of LIR resources. This is part of our 
work to make updating the RIPE Registry more user-friendly and secure.

Once the change has been implemented, only the sponsoring LIR will be 
able to initiate a transfer of End User resources. This will allow 
automated checks to see that the resources are eligible to be 
transferred, and prevent typos or multiple requests being submitted for 
the same resources. It will also make the process more efficient on our 
end.
