GENERAL MEETING AND EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTIONS
The RIPE NCC GM took place last week from 10-12 May. All three
resolutions were approved by the membership. Maria Häll, Christian
Kaufmann and Salam Yamout were re-elected to the RIPE NCC Executive

RIPE 74 MEETING
The RIPE community convened in Budapest last week for RIPE 74, and there
were many great sessions and presentations that will be of interest to
the membership.

ENOG 13 ST. PETERSBURG
The ENOG 13/RIPE NCC Regional Meeting takes place in St. Petersburg next
week from 23-24 May, and we hope you will join us for what promises to
be a great meeting. Remote participation is available if you can’t be

The South East Europe (SEE) 6/RIPE NCC Regional Meeting takes place in

RIPE DATABASE WEB USER INTERFACE IMPROVEMENTS
At RIPE 74, Tim Bruijnzeels gave a presentation on usability

IPv6 FOR GOVERNMENTS
As part of our efforts to support IPv6 adoption in our service region,
the RIPE NCC is starting a new programme to offer help to governments
with their IPv6 allocation requests. If you represent a government that
is planning to make an IPv6 allocation request, please see the

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF THE RIPE NCC
The RIPE NCC is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2017, and through

RIPE NCC TECHNICAL UPDATE
The RIPE NCC’s Chief Information Officer, Kaveh Ranjbar, recently
published three articles outlining the RIPE NCC’s plans for its
technical services and tools. The articles cover RIPE Atlas, DNS, and

RIPE NCC WEBINARS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT
On 15 May, over 400 cybercrime agents from all over Europe took part in
the first of six webinars for Europol/CEPOL. After the series of
webinars is complete, we will report on the initiative on RIPE Labs.

TRAINING AND WEBINARS
In June, we will hold face-to-face training in France, Georgia,
Montenegro, Denmark and Slovakia. There will also be webinars for new
LIRs and on Internet governance, RIPE Atlas usage, IPv6 and the RIPE

RACI AT RIPE 74
Eight academics and researchers came to RIPE 74 with the RIPE Academic
Cooperation Initiative (RACI) and gave presentations on topics ranging
from RPKI and IPv6 to security and DNS Tor anonymity. All presentations
are available in the RIPE 74 archives.

There is currently a call for RACI applications for RIPE 75 in Dubai
this summer. The deadline to apply is 20 August 2017. All the RACI

RIPE LABS
