[ncc-announce] [GM] RIPE NCC General Meeting October 2016: Registration Open

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of our Executive Board, I invite you to register for the RIPE 
NCC General Meeting (GM) October 2016.

The GM will take place from 26-28 October 2016 in the Meliá Castilla 
Hotel in Madrid, Spain, adjacent to the RIPE 73 Meeting.

The GM is where RIPE NCC members can discuss the operations and 
activities of the RIPE NCC. At the upcoming GM, RIPE NCC members will 
discuss, among other topics:

- The Draft RIPE NCC Activity Plan and Budget 2017
- Redistribution of the RIPE NCC surplus/deficit to the membership (to 
be voted on)
- Amendments to the RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure (to be voted 
on)
- Reports from the RIPE NCC Executive Board and RIPE NCC Management

Members are encouraged to attend either in person at the Meliá Castilla 
Hotel or remotely via the GM webstream.

All relevant documents will be posted and announced to the membership by 
28 September 2016.

All organisations that have been members of the RIPE NCC for longer than 
six months will receive an invitation to vote electronically. 
Registration for electronic voting will remain open until 17:00 UTC+1 on 
the day of the GM, 26 October 2016.

26 Nov – GM begins with main meeting (19:00 UTC+1)
28 Nov – GM closes with vote results announcement (11:45 UTC+1)
